Spinal Stenosis Chiropractic Treatment
Many people think that experiencing pain is inevitable as they get older, but this doesn’t have to be the case. Luminous Chiropractic works to reverse this mindset by offering modern chiropractic treatment to relieve pain and prevent injury.
Spinal Stenosis Treatment
Surgery, injections, and prescription drugs are common “go to” solutions that many doctors recommend. Although these approaches may eliminate symptoms from the stenosis temporarily, they will never correct the cause.
At Luminous Chiropractic we offer alternative treatment for spinal stenosis. The technology we use can show us exactly which bone is locked and in which direction it is locked out of. Restoring proper motion and alignment through manual manipulation will allow the canal to open and will prevent further pressure from occurring.
What is Spinal Stenosis?
Spinal stenosis is a common diagnosis given to patients who suffer from chronic back pain. It is a gradual narrowing of the spinal canal and can worsen over time as we age.
Common symptoms of spinal stenosis include:
- A long history of spinal pain or injuries of the spine
- Ability to walk uphill without pain or very little pain, but difficulty walking downhill
- Numbness or weakness in a hand, arm, foot or leg
Causes of Spinal Stenosis
The cause of spinal stenosis is a locked vertebrae or a subluxation. When one bone loses motion and can no longer glide properly on the bone below or above, the opening will close and create pressure on the nerve and disc.
Luminous Chiropractic has state of the art equipment to fix the subluxations that may be causing the spinal stenosis. If you have been suffering from spinal pain for a number of years, it will take time for the body to heal, but Luminous Chiropractic will be there with you every step of the way to make sure you heal properly!
